Ponies and Snakes
Judging by several posts on the Bay Area's various internet forums, BAMA's Ponies and Snakes 2011 was an unqualified success. The weather was perfect this year and our show was a complete sell-out! The quality of the cars this year was exceptional with an awesome display of Mustangs and Cobras and a lot of high-end Shelbys and specialty Mustangs including the most talked-about car in the show, BAMA member RC's 1970 BOSS 429.

Hottest Show in the Bay
Ponies and Snakes acquired its title of the Hottest Mustang Show in the Bay Area in honor of the temperature on show days in the early years of the event.
More recently the show moved forward in the calendar in order to alleviate the suffering of participants....but the tag line stuck.
